The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program              

    The Asia International Open University, Macau (AIOU) is pleased to offer an action research DBA program to meet the growing needs from senior managers and executives. AIOU’s DBA is a doctoral degree duly recognized by the Higher Education Department of Macau Government. It is an extension of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) curricula. This DBA program adopts an action-learning approach, which aims to strike a balance between the rigors demanded by the academia, and the practical orientation expected from the business community at large. The best of both worlds approach is important to many of the senior business executives who intend to use the DBA as a vehicle to tackle major business issues as part of their personal actualization fulfillment process.

Program Characteristics:

   The DBA curriculum is specially designed for the development of senior managers and executives in industry and commerce. It is particularly relevant to those who want to be effective in their endeavors. The action learning DBA has a relatively high degree of flexibility in the choice of their learning focus to meet the busy business commitment.

This doctoral program can be completed in English or Chinese language. Depending on his or her language ability, individual candidate can enroll in either English or Chinese Program.
