This specially structured programme of study is offered for the benefit of businessmen and practicing managers who are working on a full-time basis. The programme consists of 20 courses taught over 20 weekends. Completion of the entire programme normally takes 12 to 22 months of part-time study. Classes are held in Macau on Saturdays and Sundays. Students can choose to attend one or two weekend schools each month to suit their own pace.

The medium of instruction is English.

New classes commence at very frequent intervals and candidates for admission may apply to start their programme almost at any time during the year.

    Subject to the approval of the University, students who have completed courses of equivalent content and standard to those of the Master of Business Administration degree may be granted transfer credit and/or exemptions in respect of a number of courses and attend an oral defense.

  2. A student must complete to the satisfaction of the University, a thesis consisting of an original investigation into a business problem or process.

A candidate may be awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) provided that he/she has:

  1. completed all requirements for the degree;

  2. completed the prescribed programme of study;

  3. submitted a thesis that is acceptable to the University;

  4. passed the oral defense;

  5. fulfilled all assessment requirements;

  6. paid the prescribed fees; and

  7. complied with the regulations of the University.

Achievement is measured by performance assessment methods used by leading international graduate schools of management in the North America and Europe. These include course assignments, case study analyses, and management simulation exercises.
